Kerosene

Kerosene is the cleanest burning heating oil available in the marketplace today. It is slightly more expensive than Gas Oil (approx 1 cent per litre).

Kerosene contains an orange dye and is treated with an anti freeze agent (-18max) to ensure it is 'Wintergrade' all year round. It is refined to a high quality, exceeding the requirements of British Standard specification BS 2869. It is also known as Kero, Paraffin, or 28 second oil. VAT is charged at 13.5%.

Kerosene is the most popular oil for domestic heating appliances. Its quality ensures very good burning and economical characteristics.

Households with an indoor boiler, Aga cooker, or Stanley range typically use Kerosene for fuel. It is also used as commercial oil.

Benefits
...1. Clean burn fuel (low sulphur content) that reduces environmental pollution.
...2. Competitively priced option for domestic heating.
...3. Kerosene burns efficiently with a high heat output.
